The Fiamm SMG/S 860 battery cell optimised to provide excellent cyclic performance for solar and wind turbine applications in industrial environments as well as a range of off grid applications.

Technical features include pressure cast tubular positive plates with electrolyte immobilised in gel providing proven long and deep discharge capability and suitability for environments where elevated temperatures may be present on a continuous or periodic period. The SMG/S 860 is classified as Eurobat ‘Long Life’ (12 years and longer) and built to a manufacturers design life standard of 18 years design life under float conditions.
