Questions & Answers

  • What is the difference between the SWL2500 FR and the SWL2500 EFR? The ‘E’ in the suffix of the SWL2500(E)FR bloc indicates the location of the manufacturing plant from which the battery was produced. In terms of box size, quality specification and power output there is no difference between the two types, however, the terminal location on the SWL2500 EFR is slightly different from the location of the terminals on the SWL2500 FR. This means it is important to specify which type you are replacing prior to order and is especially relevant when replacing single blocs in an existing battery string to ensure that the connectors fit properly.
